KU Leuven and Odisee have decided that all libraries and learning centers must remain close for the public till August 31 2020.

If an appointment is needed, mail to At the appointed time deposit the books at Onthaal T’Serclaes in the box marked BIB LIbrary Drop-box. You will receive an e-mail from us afterwards with regards to the return of the books. From June 15 on we also start with the Loan on demand service for all our users. Send us an e-mail with the relevant references for the items you need. The library staff will reply to your request and if the items can be loaned will make an appointment – date and time slot – for when you can retrieve the items at the library reception desk.

The library will continue to provide Scan on demand: staff and students can request a digital copy (with respect of copy right regulations) of an article from a journal or a chapter from a book free of charge. Send an e-mail to with the correct references. We will do our best to deliver these requests as soon as possible.

It is possible to print/copy on the 3rd floor of the library; though only after making an appointment, this in order to limit the number of students on campus. To make an appointment send an e-mail to Do not forget to bring your own laptop if you need to print.
