Learning Center Aalst
The library of campus Aalst is currently closed for a major renovation and will reopen as a learning center, with more attention to a pleasant study environment and collaborative workspaces in addition to collection. Room 0W04 currently serves as a temporary lending point.
More about the plans, and details on how to consult the collection during the renovation can be found on this page.

The transformation from library into open learning center
On campus, we continue to invest to best serve your needs. One of the first upcoming projects is the conversion of the library into an open learning center. Taking into account the input from the different departments, the plans have been approved. The construction will start in the fall.
To ensure that all preparations go smoothly, the library will not reopen at its current location after the summer break. On Monday, August 28, we will start up a temporary library in room 0W04, where students and teachers of the Education programs will be able to borrow a limited range of materials. Loan and scan on demand are available for all departments. Please send your requests by ticket.

The temporary location is very limited in terms of seating. We are happy to refer students to the current learning center at the reception desk, the workstations on the different floors and the student restaurant in order to study or work together.
AVM and Codescool can be found in room 0O03. More details will be provided in August.
During the works, we would love to keep you informed about the progress of the project. Do you like to be actively involved and brainstorm about the choice of furniture for the renovated learning center or the placement of the collection? Do you have further questions about the project? Feel free to contact Elin Arijs (elin.arijs@odisee.be).
